“Tight as”  - part two (click to see part one)

The Devin Townsend Project. (http://www.hevydevy.com)

The Devin Townsend Project were a major highlight in my live music experience. They didn’t do anything particularly new or different, they just did it so well I couldn’t tear myself away. Tightest band ever and grooves for days. Mesmerising, hypnotic grooves. Everything was locked in so tightly that the crowd were locked in too, and along for the kind of ride that you don’t want to end.

Sound just like you want them to sound. Guess it comes from playing together for so long.

Yeah I know it’s easier for a 3 piece to be tight, but there’s a lot of 3 pieces that aren’t as tight as these guys. Way to get the whole crowd on their feet.

Great live sound. The first thing that hit me was just how tight and together they were.
